HARRISON, N.Y. - She's two weeks into the job and already extending the time she spends in the office. Harrison Town Clerk Jacqueline Greer announced new office hours this week, effective Jan. 24.

Greer said that the clerk's office will remain opened from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. every fourth Tuesday of the month. These new hours coincide with scheduled Planning Board meetings in order to save the cost of opening the building for extra hours, also eliminating the need for required evening security.

In a statement, Greer said she would also be available by appointment to meet at the homes of those who have special needs or medical situations.

Regular office hours in the town clerk's office are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday from Labor Day to Memorial Day through the fall, winter and spring. The office is also open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Memorial Day through Labor Day in the summer.

The Town Clerk's office can be reached by calling (914) 670-3030 or by email at jgreer@harrison-ny.gov.
