HARRISON, N.Y. – Harrison firefighter Charles Giacomo resigned from the firehouse last week amid allegations of insubordination and a suspension, reports lohud.

Giacomo was suspended in June and charged with eight insubordination charges related to not recognizing volunteer chiefs’ authority, stating he wouldn’t respond to calls in certain areas of Harrison because he didn't know anyone who lived there, and leaving his post in fire department vehicles twice without permission, according to the report.
