Harrison Firefighters Battling Rye Blaze Tops This Week's News

HARRISON, N.Y. – Here are some of the stories that topped the news in Harrison this week:

As many as 85 firefighters from Rye, Port Chester, Harrison, West Harrison, the Town of Mamaroneck, the Village of Mamaroneck and Greenwich responded to a house fire in Rye.
Joan G. Shuttleworth died at the age of 80, who worked with Gannett Newspapers in Harrison.
The Harrison Library participated in the "Big Read". The "Big Library Read" is an international program with over 6,000 participating libraries.
