HARRISON, N.Y. - Some of Harrison's finest musicians took to the national stage earlier this month when members of the school's marching band, past and present, performed at MetLife Stadium during a New York Giants football game.
The band, including students, faculty and alumni, marched alonside the Westchester Brassmen Drum and Bugle Corps during the half time show on New Year's Day against the Dallas Cowboys. Louis M. Klein Middle School's Band Director Robert Sachs uploaded videos of the performance to Youtube.
Harrison's working relationship with the Brassmen goes far back with Brassmen Director Joe Mazzullo having played for the high school band back when he was in school. The Brassmen also regularly offer scholarships to students who commit to the yearly performance schedule.
