Harrison Police Reports: Driving Offenses

HARRISON, N.Y. – Harrison Police said three summonses were issued for suspended registrations, three more for driving with suspended licenses and one man was caught driving with a revoked license.

The following items were also reported by Harrison police:

Suspended Registration : Harrison Police issued a summons to a 22-year old man from Hartsdale on April 6 at 6:21 p.m. at the intersection of Lake and Hancock streets. A search through E-Justice confirmed that the man was driving with a suspended registration, police said.

Suspended License : A 29-year old man from Purchase was issued a summons on April 8 at 6:31 p.m. at the intersection of Ophir Drive and Anderson Hill Road. A search of the New York State Police Information Network revealed that the man was driving with a suspended license as of Nov. 12, 2010 for failure to pay child support, according to police.

Suspended License : A man from Chesterfield, Va. was issued a summons on April 9 at 6:59 p.m. at 2175 Westchester Ave. The man was issued a summons for driving with a suspended license as of Dec. 26, 2009 for failure to answer a summons in Harrison.

Revoked Registration : A 41-year old man from Thornwood was issued a summons on April 10 at 2:02 p.m. at 400 Mamaroneck Ave. The summons was for a revoked registration as of Feb. 27, 2012 for not having car insurance, police said.

Suspended Registration : Police issued a summons to a 37-year old man from Rye on April 10 at 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Mathews Street. Police said a DMV check confirmed the man’s registration was suspended for an insurance lapse as of Dec. 20, 2011.

Driving Without a License : A 29-year old man from Port Chester was issued a summons on April 11 at 1:07 a.m. at 3000 Westchester Ave. for driving without a license.

Suspended License : A 26-year old woman from Croton-On-Hudson was issued a summons on April 11 at 8:50 p.m. at the intersection of Halstead and Harrison avenues. Police said a NYSPIN search found that her license was suspended for failure to answer a summons out of Kent, N.Y.
