HARRISON, N.Y. -- Harrison's public pools will be open every day of the week starting next week.
The Ron Belmont Pool on Casarella Way and the Bernie Guagnini Brentwood Pool on Adelphi Avenue will open for weekday swimming on Monday. The pools will be open from noon to 6 p.m. for the first week. Starting June 24, the pools will be open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on weekends from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Lap swimming will be available at any time at the Ron Belmont Pool, and in the mornings and evenings at the Bernie Guagnini Brentwood Pool. Residents must have a 2013 pool pass to swim. Pool passes can be obtained with a utility bill or driver's license for adults, and a school report card for kids. Adults must accompany kids younger than fifth grade.
Guests are allowed at the Ron Belmont Pool for $20 per day for adults and $10 per day for children. Guests at the Bernie Guagnini Brentwood Pool are allowed for $10 per day for adults and $5 for kids. Guests must accompany a pool pass holder.
