HARRISON, N.Y. - Harrison High School senior Daniel Morgen was selected to represent his school at the New York State School Music Association All-State Conference as a member of the symphonic band. He was chosen out of thousands of students who auditioned for the group.
Morgen is a trumpet player and has been involved with award-winning marching and concert bands at Harrison High School. He was recently named one of the three drum majors for his senior year.
He is a member of the award-winning high school jazz band and also plays with the Greater Westchester Youth Orchestra.
The symphonic band will perform at the conference from Dec. 1 to Dec. 4 in Rochester, N.Y.
