Harrison Shifts Garbage Collection For Next Week

HARRISON, N.Y. -- Harrison has shifted its garbage and recycling collection for next week because of a town holiday on Friday, March 29.

Garbage and recycling that would normally be collected on Thursday, March 28 will be picked up on Wednesday, March 27. Garbage and recycling scheduled to be picked up on Friday will be picked up on Thursday. There will be no bulk trash collection on Wednesday.

The Sanitation Department also announced Thursday that a it will be using a loaner sanitation truck for the next week. The truck is white and unmarked. Residents should not be alarmed if they see this truck driving around their neighborhood during normal trash collection.
