Harrison Summer Theater Returns with Charlie Brown

HARRISON, N.Y. -- Harrison's New York Dance will present their summer performance Saturday with "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown."

The show is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Building at 210 Halstead Ave. and requires a $10 ticket sold at the door.

New York Dance is run by Harrison native DeAngelo and hosts fewer than 100 students. The company will celebrate its 10-year anniversary this upcoming season.

Their most recent production, "Hooray for Hollywood," was held at the Veterans Memorial Building last month.

Students at the studio have gone as far as performing at the world-famous Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in Manhattan.

Money raised from the show will help fund the group's upcoming trip to the 2012 London Olympics, where they will perform throughout the festivities.

The group will hold various events throughout the year to raise money including a Sept. 17 dinner at Mamaroneck's St. Thomas Episcopal Church to remain an integral part of the community.
