HARRISON, N.Y. - A male teenager from Harrison was charged with sexually abusing a local 10-year-old boy, police said Thursday.

The assaults, which police said occurred on two separate occasions, took place while the 17-year-old served as the boy's babysitter.

The teenager was arrested on Feb. 16 and charged with two felony counts of first degree sexual abuse, two felony counts of first degree criminal sexual act and two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Police did not name the suspect because of his age.

The teen was arraigned and released on $3,000 bail, police said. Police released no further details.
