  • The University of Albany selected Daniel Maldonado of West Harrison as one of its 2013 Multicultural High School Achievers. Students were elected for exemplary academic performance and leadership in their schools and communities.
  • Harrison Town/Village Board Member Joseph Cannella received 100 percent of the vote in Tuesday's primary election, according to unofficial Board of Election results.
  • The body of a 20-year-old Mamaroneck man who had been missing since Sept. 4 was pulled from the Hudson River off the Dobbs Ferry shoreline.
