HARRISON, N.Y. - A man was arrested earlier this month when police caught him urinating behind Harrison Avenue Elementary School, which also led to his confession of marijuana possession, police said.
Harrison police spotted John Acevedo urinating near the tennis courts as they patrolled Nelson Avenue late on July 13 and watched as he entered a nearby car and drove from the scene. The 54-year-old from Riverdale was stopped by police on Union Avenue and arrested for exposure before admitting to police that he had eight ounces of marijuana in his pocket, police said.
The confession led to an additional charge for unlawful possession of marijuana.
Acevedo was processed at the scene and eventually released.
