HARRISON, N.Y. -- In case you didn't check out The Harrison Daily Voice every day, here are some of the top stories from this week.
- Police asked for help in identifying an unknown man believed to be carrying a gun on Underhill Avenue. They later identified him, and determined that the gun was fake and he did not pose a threat to the public.
- Mayor Ron Belmont issued the 2013 State of the Town address . He said that Hurricane Sandy was the biggest challenge Harrison faced in the past year, but highlighted many positive changes, such as the new budget.
- Harrison High School teacher Gary Glauber took part in the Pulitzer Remix project for National Poetry month. Glauber created a new poem using words and phrases from Richard Russo's novel "Empire Falls."
