Manhattanville Opens 'Haunted Hike' to Harrison

HARRISON, N.Y. – Manhattanville College will be opening its doors to Harrison this Halloween, allowing the public inside the school's Haunted Hike for the first time.

The Haunted Hike will have residents navigate through the school's old Ophir Farm, encountering spooky creatures and ghostly figures in the spirit of Halloween. The event includes tours continuously throughout the evenings of Oct. 30 and Oct. 31 with the final guests admitted at midnight.

Admission for children and students with valid identification is $3 and adults pay $5. Doughnuts and hot beverages will be provided. The college's office of residential life has advised that participants wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the evening's weather. Children under 17-years-old must have an adult present.

The college will also will also be hosting "safe trick or treating" on Halloween between the hours of 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. Children will be welcome to knock on certain doors in Spellman Hall, one of the school's residence halls, to receive candy from students.
