Morning Accidents Result In Traffic Delays On Saw Mill River Parkway, I-684

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- There have been several accidents reported Thursday morning on the Saw Mill River Parkway and there is also a delay on I-684.

An accident on the northbound Saw Mill Parkway in Chappaqua at Reader's Digest Road with a car off the road was reported at 8 a.m.

In Elmsford, the northbound Saw Mill ramp from Exit 21 (Route 119) was closed following an accident.

The right lane of the Saw Mill River Parkway between Route 117 and I-684 in Katonah was blocked after another accident, resulting in stop-and-go traffic.

On I-684, a broken down bus iis blocking the southbound right lane between Hardscrabble Road and the entrance to the Saw Mill Parkway, resulting in stop-and-go traffic.

Earlier Thursday morning on the Saw Mill, the northbound lane between Manville Road and Bedford Road was closed as a result of an tractor trailor attempting the access the parkway. It was cleared shortly after 10 a.m.
