Music Promoter Charged With Killing Westchester Man

Police have arrested the man who allegedly shot and killed a 22-year-old soldier from Westchester outside a nightclub in Tacoma, Wash., on Sunday.

Marshall Marion Wilson has been charged with second-degree murder, first-degree assault and unlawful possession of a firearm in Washington for allegedly fatally shooting Da'Quan Foster, a Yonkers native who grew up in New Rochelle.

The 34-year-old Wilson is a rap music promoter, according to The News Tribune.

According to reports, Foster was shot several times following an argument outside the Latitude 84 club at 1:40 a.m. on Oct. 29.

Foster's wife, who was with him at the time, was also shot in the hand, according to reports. The two were walking out of the club when they were allegedly confronted by Wilson and a fight broke out. While attempting to flee, gunshots rang out and Foster was struck several times. His wife, Olivia Brown, was shot while attempting to break up the fight.

Police have reportedly found bullet casings from both a 9mm pistol and a 40. caliber pistol at the scene.

According to The News Tribune, Wilson was throwing dollar bills inside the club before the fight.

Wilson has pleaded not guilty to the murder charge, with a judge setting bail at $2 million.
