WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The northbound Hutchinson River Parkway between Ridge Street and King Street in Rye Brook near the Greenwich, Conn., border reopened Monday afternoon after one lane was blocked four hours as a result of a tractor trailer hitting the overpass.

The northbound Hutch had been closed entirely shortly after 5 a.m. prior to the left lane reopening several hours later as the trailer was being off-loaded. The right lane remained closed until 3 p.m.

A height bar on the entrance road would end this problem

A truck went under the Mamaroneck Road Bridge in Scarsdale Friday would think he could have foreseen it was going to shred the top off his truck which it did... what an idiot

This is just ridiculous. Can they start arresting the truck drivers that do this and put them in jail and confiscate their trucks? Maybe if they do something extreme like this, their fellow truckers will get the message.
