HARRISON, N.Y. - Harrison drivers will encounter delays next week on I-684 as various closures going both northbound and southbound will be in place for ongoing road renovations. The New York State Department of Transportation said lanes and ramps will be closed from Monday through Friday for paving activities.
Lanes will be closed going both directions between exit one for I-287 and exit two for NY-120 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. nightly and 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily.
There will also be exit and entrance ramps closed on southbound exit two for NY-120 Monday through Thursday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Signed detours will be in place.
The NYSDOT asks that drivers use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particularattention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers. Travelers are also reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
