Repeat Offender Gets Felony in Harrison Arrest

HARRISON, N.Y. - It was the last straw for the Harrison Police Department when Anibal Santiago was caught driving without a license in Purchase Tuesday night.

Santiago, 43, was charged with a felony after police found he was driving without a license on Anderson Hill Road. Police reports said he's received 59 violations over 24 different dates.

Police placed Santiago under arrest at the scene of his stop and because of his lengthy record, he was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the first degree, a felony.

Santiago was released on $750 bail and is due back in Harrison court on Jan. 31.
