Search Under Way In Westchester Reservoir For Missing Plane

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- A single-engine plane lost on radar early Thursday evening while on approach to Danbury Airport is believed to have crashed into the Titicus Reservoir in North Salem.

Emergency responders from several municipalities are at the scene with boats in the reservoir searching for the plane, believed to be a Beechcraft Bonanza, after witnesses reportedly saw the plane go down. (See accompanying photo.)
