Severe Weather, Flood Watch Issued In Westchester

WESTCHESTER, N. Y. – The National Weather Service has issued weather alerts for Westchester County.

There is a flood advisory in effect until 6 p.m. Sunday evening due to strong thunderstorms that moved through the area in the late afternoon.

The weather alert warns people to stay away from small streams and avoid areas of roads that are covered in water.
