HARRISON, N.Y. - Reshaping Harrison's downtown business district has been an ongoing discussion topic throughout last November's election cycle. With the new town board meeting for the first time Thursday night, it's time to ask our readers what they'd like to see.
What would you like to see at 231 Halstead Ave. where Sam's Sports Shop once stood? The building has been vacant for over a year and The Daily Harrison wants to know what residents think would be most beneficial to the town at this location.

We need a good Italian place to move in that space. But the best way to get people to come to any of the stores downtown is to go through with "It's Happening In Harrison." That would draw people to come to our town and have options to eat at.
