HARRISON, N.Y. -- The Harrison Town Board will meet Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the downtown municipal building to announce the Nov. 19 community clean-up "green and clean day," among other things
The community clean-up day will be held Nov. 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in which residents are invited to join the Harrison Fire Department at Veterans Park off Crystal Street for food, drinks and T-shirts.
Other items on the agenda include the acknowledgement of the the Harrison Festival Japanese Committee's contributions to various Harrison organizations for a total of $5,200, from funds raised at the Great to Live in Harrison Day celebration as well as from Japanese families.
Monthly reports will also be given by the town's fire marshal, building inspector, recreation department, commissioner of public works, and police chief. Click here to download the agenda.
