Thanksgiving Takes Over Harrison Library Programs

HARRISON, N.Y. - Thanksgiving is coming to the Harrison Public Library as the facility will hold its regular programming schedule, but with a holiday twist.

Thanksgiving-themed programs will kick-off Wednesday with a 10:30 a.m. story time at the 2 Bruce Ave. downtown branch, which will include Thanksgiving-themed books being read aloud.

The library will also host a 4 p.m. Thanksgiving craft program later in the afternoon. Children will be given the chance to cut out, paste and color pictures with turkeys, pumpkins and pilgrim or Indian children.

Residents unable to make it to the library will have a third chance to celebrate the holiday when a Thanksgiving movie will be screened the following week on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 4 p.m.

Those seeking more information can contact the library by phone at (914) 835-0324 or visit the library website at HarrisonPL.org.
