An executive at NBC's "Today" Show confirmed Monday that the pre-recorded interview with Brody's three daughters was postponed a day.

Brody would have turned 50 on Friday.

She was killed when her Mercedes SUV got stuck between rail crossing gates at Commerce Street in Valhalla. Five male commuters on the northbound train were killed in a fiery explosion that followed the train's collision with Brody's SUV.

In a pre-taped interview, their first since the tragedy, Danielle, Julia and Alexa Brody spoke to Lauer from their home in Edgemont. The crash remains under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board.
