HARRISON, N.Y. -- Virginia Fusco has been named the recipient of this year’s Harrison Citizen of the Year award.
Fusco has been an involved member of the community, someone who takes pride in the town and has given her time to make the community a better place for others.
She has served for 40 years with the Harrison Senior Citizen Center, assisting with bingo, luncheons and trips, among other various duties. She has been a loyal and giving volunteer.
The official presentation will be made at the "It’s Great to Live in Harrison Celebration/Columbus Day Observance" event Wednesday, Oct. 14.
