West Harrison Celebrates Annual Festa Italiana

WEST HARRISON, N.Y. – St. Anthony of Padua Church held its 43rd annual Festa Italiana over the weekend, where people could eat, drink, dance and enjoy the biggest celebration all year in West Harrison.

"We are very blessed to have had great weather, and it was packed each night," said the Rev. Christopher Monturo, pastor of St. Anthony's. "We had the church open for the first time ever during the Festa where people can visit. There have been some great things over the past 43 years. It's not just for members of our parish but people all around the area."

The Festa ran Friday and Saturday until midnight and continued Sunday at the church, 125 Preston Ave., West Harrison, with the Procession of the Feast of St. Anthony of Padua after the 2 p.m. Mass.
