HARRISON, N.Y. - Here’s a look at events happening around Harrison this week, including government meetings and community happenings.

Monday, April 16

- PTA Meeting, 9:30 a.m. The Louis M. Klein Middle School PTA will hold a meeting, 50 Union Ave., Harrison.

- Italian Class, 1:45 p.m. to 3:20 p.m. Italian classes will be held for 3 to 5-year olds. Children will learn Italian through interactive dynamic methods that include music, art, puppetry, dance and more. Cost is $160. - Creative Movement Through Dance, 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Children ages 2 through 4 will get an introduction to dance through creative movement games and imaginative stories. - Archery Class, 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Learn the basics of archery including safety, shooting techniques, scoring, tackles and care maintenance. Registration fee is $75 for 10 one-hour sessions, Veterans Park on Crystal Street, Harrison.

- Business Career Fair, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Manhattanville College is holding its  annual Business Career Fair. Economic Director for the County Executive Laurence Gottlieb will give the keynote address, 2900 Purchase St., Purchase.

- Induction Ceremony, 7 p.m. Harrison High School will hold a foreign language induction ceremony, 255 Union Ave., Harrison.

- Italian Class, 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Italian classes will be held for children 6 months to 2 1/2-years. Children will learn Italian through interactive dynamic methods that include music, art, puppetry, dance and more. Cost is $160. - BOE Meeting, 8:15 p.m. The Board of Education will hold a special meeting at LMK. The meeting was called to give the board more time to look at the tentative 2012-13 school budget, 50 Union Ave., Harrison.

Thursday, April 19

- School Play, 10 a.m. First graders at Harrison Avenue School will put on a school play, 480 Harrison Ave., Harrison.

- Faculty Lecture, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Manhattanville College Professor Amy-Jill Levine will give a lecture titled “The Misunderstood Jews: Jesus, Judaism and the Church" in the Ophir Room in Reid Castle. For more information call (914) 323-7178.

Friday, April 20

- Little League Parade, 6 p.m. Baseball and Softball players in Harrison Little League will march from Veterans Park to Feeley Field. An opening ceremony and barbecue will follow.

- School Play, 7 p.m. Harrison High School students will perform their Spring Drama in the high school’s auditorium, 255 Union Ave., Harrison.
