HARRISON, N.Y. – “Legends in Concert” starring Beatles tribute band Strawberry Fields on Saturday night at Louis M. Klein Middle School highlights this weekend’s events in Harrison.

Friday, March 9

  • This is the last day that high school students can register to take the ACT exam.
  • The Harrison Public Library will host “Russian Story Time” for children up to 2 years old. The event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
  • SUNY Purchase will host a BFA Senior Project dance concert featuring performances by Stephen Behan, Krista Cerretto, Chiesa Mason, Hillary Reiter and Amanda Smith. The concert begins at 8 p.m. in the Dance Theatre Lab. Tickets cost $5 at the door and $3 with a valid SUNY Purchase ID.

Saturday, March 10

  • Harrison Avenue School students will perform “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.” The first performance is at 11 a.m. The second performance will begin at 2 p.m.
  • The Harrison High School baseball and softball teams will host “Legends in Concert” starring Beatles tribute band Strawberry Fields. Some members of the band have performed in the Broadway musical “Beatlemania.” The event will also feature Frankie, Sammy, Marilyn and Dean as the New York Rat Pack, Bobby Valli, Bobby Palermo and Jackie DiMaggio. Hosted by Dennis “Dion” Nardone, the event begins at 7:30 p.m. at Louis M. Klein Middle School. Tickets are $35. For more information call 914-997-0181
