What's Happening in Harrison This Weekend

Easter and Passover events take center stage in Harrison this weekend along with an art show and a paper shredding day for residents.


Angels of Love : 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The program at Manhattanville College gives volunteers a chance to cut out baby patterns for babies in need. For more information contact Craig Donnelly at (914) 694-2200 or , 2900 Purchase St., Purchase.

SAT Registration : Saturday is the last day students at Harrison High School can register to take the SAT exam.


Shredding Day : 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Westchester County will have a paper shredder in Harrison at the Commuter Lot at the intersection of Halstead and Harrison avenues. Residents are asked to remove all paper clips and staples from any papers they would like shredded.

Seed Starting For Kids : 1 p.m., Staff at the Cranberry Lake Preserve will show kids how to start growing seeds at home. Each child will be given seeds, soil and a planter to transport to their backyard, 1609 Old Orchard St., West Harrison.


St. Anthony’s Easter Mass : Masses will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Church in West Harrison at 8 a.m., 10:15 a.m. and noon, 85 Harrison St., West Harrison

St. Gregory the Great Easter Mass : Masses will be held at St. Gregory the Great at 7 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., 215 Halstead Ave.
