Rocco was born May 7, 1921, in the Bronx, to Michael and Pasqualina (Sgambato) Della Rocco. He was a technical sergeant in the Army during World War II. He was the chief of Detectives with the Town of Harrison Police Department where he served for 30 years.
Rocco is survived by his wife Carrie; children, Lynn (Robert) Keating and Michael (Camille) Della Rocco; and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours are Friday, Nov. 1 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2 at St. Anthony of Padua Church. The entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
