WEST HARRISON, N.Y. - Ann C. Dixon, a longtime resident of West Harrison, died Wednesday, Oct. 1. She was 92.
Dixon was born Nov. 27, 1921, to Gustav and Catherine Wistrand. She worked as a librarian for many years at Manhattanville College and was a member for 50 years at the Memorial Community Church of West Harrison.
Dixon is survived by her daughter, Carole Kalba of Patterson; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Ferris; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, George C. Dixon; son, John Dixon; and brother, John Wistrand.
Calling hours are Friday, Oct. 3 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Ave., White Plains where a funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Interment will follow at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4 in the Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla.
