HARRISON, N.Y. — Harrison resident Carmelita Briotte died on Sunday, May 1. She was 90.
She was born to Annuziata and Giuseppi Ribuffo.
Briotte worked as a seamstress at Ledman's Dress Factory for many years, was part owner of Briotte's Deli and worked at Archbishop Stepanic High School as a cafeteria cashier up until her retirement.
She is survived by her children Michael J. and his wife, Cynthia and Nancy Cuoco and her husband, Frank; her grandchildren Frank Cuoco, Nicole King and two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael "Mickey" Briotte.
Visitation will be held at the Harrison Funeral Home, Inc., 329 Halstead Ave., in Harrison on Wednesday until 8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 5, at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church, 94 Broadway, in Harrison.
Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook.
