HARRISON, N.Y. – Florence (Chris) Ruge, of Harrison, died peacefully in her sleep Sunday, March 1.
Born to the late Florence and Philip Cristiano, she is survived by her loving daughters, Robin Morabito (Frank) and Tonny Guido (Carmen), dear grandchildren, Frank P. Morabito (Stephanie) and Noelle Slomich (Mordy) and great grand grandchildren, Matthew, Daniel & Olivia Morabito and Aaron Slomich.
She is also the cherished sister of Thomas Stroh and Joy Broer.
Florence is predeceased by her husband, Paul Ruge, and siblings, Philip Cristiano and Jeri Marshall.
She has been active in many community clubs. She was an avid walker; and could be seen walking to town every day with a smile on her face and waving to all she knew.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday 10 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church followed by interment at Kensico Cemetery.
