Hochman Sisters' Funeral Arrangements, Services Announced

HARRISON, N.Y. -- Funeral arrangements and services have been announced for Alissa Marie and Deanna Nicole Hochman, who Harrison police said were murdered Saturday by their father, Glen, before he killed himself.

Alissa, 17, and Deanna, 13, will be remembered by family and friends during a funeral mass at 10 a.m., Friday at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church, 215 Halstead Ave., Harrison. Burial will be private.

Arrangements are being handled by Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 East Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, where the family will receive visitors from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday.

Alissa, born on Dec. 20, 1996, was a volunteer with the Harrison EMS and a member of the Fire Department's Explorers Post. The Harrison High School senior also volunteered with the Larchmont Fire Department. She was a cheerleader, Rangers Fan and enjoyed country music and ice skating.

Deanna, born on Aug. 13, 2001, was a lover of sports; baseball, softball and a cheerleading captain. She was an avid wrestling fan and enjoyed playing her Xbox.

Alissa and Deanna are survived by their mother, Anamarie DiPietro Hochman; their 22-year-old sister, Samantha; grandmother, Barbara DiPietro; and aunt, Sandra Bessels. 

They also are survived by their grandparents, Stephen and Judy Hochman, aunts and uncles, Susan Hochman and Rob Bratskeir, Lisa Hochman and Kevin Worth; and cousins, Eric and Daniel Bessels, Jae and Sarah Bratskeir, and Eli and Simon Worth.

Alissa Hochman also is survived by her loving boyfriend, John Moore, and the extended family of Harrison EMS.

More than $23,000 has been pledged in contributions to their surviving mother and sister on a GoFundMe site created by Harrison EMT Joe Bilotto.

"Alissa and Deanna were young sisters who lived in the community," Bilotto wrote. "They were both very special girls not only to the family but to many people around the community."
