WEST HARRISON, N.Y. – Gaetano Casarella of West Harrison died June 18. He was 80.
Born Feb. 18, 1932 in Bisaccia, Italy, he was the son of Donato Casarella and Serafina Coviello. On April 24, 1955, Casarella married his wife, Angela. He was a member of the Silver Lake Mutual Society.
Casarella is survived by four children, Serafino (Giovanna), Jerry (Joan), Danny (Patty) and Teresa (Italo) Panzariello; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandson. He was predeceased by two brothers Vincenzo and Francesco and a sister, Maria.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at McMahon, Lyon and Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony of Padua Church in West Harrison. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association.
