HARRISON, N.Y. – Gilda Mazzucca Salamone of Harrison died Monday, Feb. 29. She was 95.
Born Nov. 25, 1920, she was a lifelong resident of Harrison. She worked at Sound Federal Savings Bank in Mamaroneck as vice president. She retired in 2006. She was a member of the Harrison Columbiettes.
Survivors include her daughters, Suzanne Giannotti and Mildred Anderson; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her sister, Marie Allegretti; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Frank Salamone.
The Salamone family will receive friends Friday, March 4, from 4-8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home, 329 Halstead Ave., Harrison. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday, March 6, at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church. Interment will follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye.
