HARRISON, N.Y. -- Grazia (Valentini) Acocella, of Harrison, passed away Aug. 18. She was 94.
Born in Andretta, Avollino Italy to Francesco and Marianna Caruso. Grazia was the loving mother of Nick, Angelo(Helen), Valentino, and Mario(Gianna). Grazia was the beloved sister of Guiseppe Caruso, and the late Angela Antolino, Giusseppina Caruso and Caterina Caruso. She was the cherished grandmother of seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Francesco and her daughter-in-law Benedetta Acocella.
To honor her life family and friends will gather on Friday, Aug 21 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coxe and Graziano Funeral Home 767 E Boston Post Rd. Mamaroneck (914) 698-5968. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22 at St. Gregory the Great Parish in Harrison. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale.
