WEST HARRISON, N.Y. Jennie C. Casarella of West Harrison died Aug. 7. She was 86.
Casarella was the co-owner of Frank's Delicatessen in White Plains for 39 years.
She was born Sept. 27, 1925, in Mount Vernon to Josephine Rapa and James D'Arpino. She married Frank A. Casarella on April 25, 1947. Casarella was a member of the West Harrison Senior Citizens. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Casarella is survived by a son, Robert J. (Michelle) Casarella, of Tarrytown; a daughter, Darlene (Gabriel) Casarella Finocchietti; a son-in-law, Irwin Neiderman; a brother, Nicholas D'Arpino; two sisters, Mary Meyer and Frances Cristiano; eight grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Her husband died in 1998. She also was predeceased by a daughter, Francine Casarella Neiderman; and six brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m., Friday, at McMahon, Lyon and Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Saturday, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, followed by burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery in White Plains.
