HARRISON, N.Y. - Joseph M. Stout of Harrison died Nov. 1. He was 88.
Stout was born Nov. 19, 1925, in Larchmont, to Joseph A. and Bridget (nee Hunt) Stout. He was a self-taught pastry chef and baker for over 50 years, and spent most of his career working as a supervisor at Arnold's bakery in Greenwich.
Stout is survived by his wife, Jean (nee Santucci) Stout; son, Joseph A. Stout II (Mary Ellen); a grandchild; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; siblings, Anna Marie "Nancy" Rocque and John Stout.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Nov. 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 5 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck 914-698-5968. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6 at St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church, entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Harrison Volunteer Fire Dept., 206 Harrison Ave., Harrison.
