Joseph M. Stout, 88, Of Harrison, Chef And Baker

HARRISON, N.Y. - Joseph M. Stout of Harrison died Nov. 1. He was 88.

Stout was born Nov. 19, 1925, in Larchmont, to Joseph A. and Bridget (nee Hunt) Stout. He was a self-taught pastry chef and baker for over 50 years, and spent most of his career working as a supervisor at Arnold's bakery in Greenwich.

Stout is survived by his wife, Jean (nee Santucci) Stout; son, Joseph A. Stout II (Mary Ellen); a grandchild; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; siblings, Anna Marie "Nancy" Rocque and John Stout.

Calling hours are Tuesday, Nov. 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 5 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home , 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck 914-698-5968. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6 at St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church, entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Harrison Volunteer Fire Dept. , 206 Harrison Ave., Harrison.
