HARRISON, N.Y. – June MacInnes, of Harrison, died Sunday, July 12. She was 88.
MacInnes was born in Brooklyn to Tom and Jessie French, and was raised in Armonk.
Her parents helped found Armonk Lumber Company, and she was a longtime bookkeeper for them. She also worked at Empire Wallboard in Elmsford and in Armonk at Enchanted Toys.
MacInnes was predeceased by her parents; her husband Ewen; her grandson Ewen; and her brother Tom.
She is survived by six children, 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours are from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 E. Main St., Mount Kisco.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home followed by interment at White Plains Rural Cemetery.
