HARRISON, N.Y. – Margaret M. Donahue, of West Harrison, died in her sleep on Thursday, May 21, at The Kensington in White Plains. She was 98.
Donahue was born on Sept. 24, 1916, in White Plains to Mr. and Mrs. Hollis C. Eisner
She founded Donahue's Stationery Store with her husband Patrick in West Harrison in 1950, and helped run the store into her early 90s.
She was predeceased by her husband, and is survived by her two children, Patrick Jr. of White Plains and and his partner, Long Wei Guan; Kathy Bologna of Princeton, N.J. and Nantucket, Mass., her grandchildren, Alison, Jessica and Jaclyn Bologna, and her son-in-law, Thomas Bologna.
Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home.
A funeral mass will be on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony's Padua Church in West Harrison.
Interment will follow at The Gate of Heaven Cemetery and be private.
