HASTINGS, N.Y. - Michael F. Angarano of Harrison died April 19. He was 93.
Angarano was born in Norwich, Conn., to Pasquale and Celeste Angarano. He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II. He lived in Harrison for more than 50 years and was a member of the Rotary Club and local VFW. He volunteered for Meals on Wheels.
Angarano is survived by his children, Michael (Sandy), Pasquale “Patsy” (Ada), Dominic (Rita) and Christine (Brian); and 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Gladys (Haskel); and daughter, Marie.
Calling hours are Tuesday, April 23, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, April 24, at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great RC Church. Interment is private.
