HARRISON/BREWSTER, N.Y. - Mildred Marie Diefenbach, former resident of Harrison and Brewster, died Sept. 23. She was 98.
Diefenbach was born in Harrison to Anthony and Adeline Capio. She graduated from Harrison High School. She worked briefly in the Harrison Town Offices.
Diefenbach is survived by her children, Carol Pillig (Ernie) and Robert Diefenbach (Margaret); six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Alice O'Connor, Marion Day and Anne Fraioli. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Diefenbach; and sister, Evelyn.
Calling hours are Saturday, Sept. 27 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, 914-698-5968. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 at St. Gregory the Great RC Church. Committal will be private.
