Pat V. Angarano, Former Harrison Mayor And Councilman, Dies

HARRISON, N.Y. - Pat V. Angarano of Harrison died May 10. He was 89.

Angarano was a Navy veteran serving on the USS Card during WWII. He was an insurance agent before entering into public service. He was a former Town Councilman and three-term Mayor of Harrison. He was a member of the Harrison Fire Dept. for over 50 years and a member of the Giovanni Caboto Club.

Angarano is survived by his children, William Angarano, Judy Davis, Joan and Janet Angarano; and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Eleanor (nee Cipolla); and siblings, Joseph, Danny, Augie, Paul, Phil, Matty, Johnny, Rose Ricozzi and Antoinette Iezzi. Calling hours are Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, May 13  from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coxe and Graziano Funeral Home 767 East Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 14 at St. Gregory the Great RC Church followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
