Paul Vallarelli, 88, Worked For The Town Of Harrison, Dept. Of Sanitation

HARRISON, N.Y. - Paul Vallarelli of Harrison died Sept. 11. He was 88.

Vallarelli was born in 1926. He was a veteran of the Navy serving in World War II. Later he worked for the Town of Harrison Dept. of Sanitation. He served as a volunteer for the Purchase Fire Dept for 36 years. He was a member of the Giovanni Caboto Club and also of the Harrison Seniors.

Vallarelli is survived by his wife, Anne (nee Giovannetti); children, Paula Gelsomino (Ralph), Susan Scoma (Joe), Vicky Foglia (Angelo), Judy Wagner (John), and Paul Vallarelli;siblings, Isabelle Vallarelli, Rose Vallarelli, Jeanne Gasparini, Michael Vallarelli and Patsy Vallarelli; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his siblings, Victor, Fred, and Mimi Vallarelli.

Calling hours are Friday, Sept. 12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. 914-698-5968. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13 at St. Gregory the Great RC Church followed by interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Research or Hospice & Palliative Care of Westchester.
