HARRISON, N.Y. – Rita Marion Schettino, 87, of West Harrison, died Wednesday, April 29.
She was born on July 25, 1927, in the Bronx to Ralph and Domenica (Loverro) De Gennaro. She married John Schettino on Oct. 8, 1955, in the Bronx.
She was a member of the West Harrison Seniors
Her husband died in 2009, and her daughter, Elaine Nugent, died in 2000.
She is survived by her son-in-law, William Nugent, of West Harrison.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, May 1, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral mass will be held Saturday, May 2, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Interment will follow at Kensico Cemetery.
