WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. - Robert "Bobby Rubes" Rubeo, of Wappinger Falls, formerly of Harrison, died Dec. 18. He was 73.
Rubeo was born in 1941, in Yonkers, to John and Elizabeth Rubeo. He worked as a drywall contractor.
Rubeo is survived by his children, Marie (Rick) Veal, Brian (Corinne) Hess; six grandchildren; brother, John (Donna) Rubeo; and sisters, Lois (William) Hollander, Marietta (Steve) Byrd, Betty-Jean Rubeo, and Joanna Remsen. He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours are Monday, Dec. 22 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23 at St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
