HARRISON, N.Y. -- Rosa Iori, a resident of Harrison, died Sunday, Jan. 25, at the age of 88.
Iori was born on June 14, 1926, in Corvara, Italy, the youngest of 11 children.
Her last employment was at St. Vincent's Hospital, from which she retired in 2002. Iori had a passion for gardening, cooking, baking and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Angelo (Gaetana) Iori; and daughter, Louisa (Nicholas) Amendola; and grandchildren Anthony (Carrie) Iori, Michael Iori and Kelly, Kristy, Kasey Amendola.
She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Giovanni Iori, and all her siblings.
Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 29, from 4-8 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, 914-698-5968.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Jan. 30, at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church in Harrison, followed by burial at Greenwood Union in Rye.
